General Director of RUE "Minskenergo" Oleg Anatolyevich Schemel took part in the events, dedicated to the Knowledge Day at the Minsk Energy College

1 September educational institutions of the country opened their doors to those, who throughout the year will be here to learn something new and take the next step towards their future.

For the fiftieth time meets students on the first of September and the Minsk City Energy College, whose anniversary this year coincided with the Day of Knowledge.

On the occasion of a double holiday in ceremonial events, dedicated to the beginning of the academic year in the Minsk City Energy College was attended by the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Belarus Prudnikova O.F., Director General of State Production Association "Belenergo" Drozd P.V., First Deputy General Director – Chief Engineer of State Production Association "Belenergo" Bobrov V.V., General Director of RUE "Minskenergo" Schemel O.A., Chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Energy Workers, gas and fuel industry Gavrisev V.V. and others.

At the solemn line, the guests of the event wished their colleagues, future power engineers success and excellent results in the academic year.

After the solemn part, the students of the college invited guests to the first lesson of this academic year on the topic: “The unity of the Belarusian people is the basis of an independent country”.

Speaking to the students of the college Schemel O.A.. congratulated the children on the beginning of the school year and emphasized: “how lucky everyone is, who chose this interesting, creative profession energy”. He spoke about his first steps in it and how, how RUE "Minskenergo" is developing today.

The General Director of the enterprise wished future power engineers to try to find themselves in the profession as soon as possible. “The doors of our company are always open for those, who are interested in working, who love energy. But above all, you must be well prepared, we need professionals. Literate, an initiative specialist will always be noticed and in demand with us. Remember, in RUE "Minskenergo" strong, well-coordinated team, we respect our history, we preserve the image and multiply traditions, and if you accept these rules - welcome", – emphasized O.A. Schemel.

At the end of the lesson, an image film was shown, telling about RUE "Minskenergo", after which the head of the enterprise answered the questions of college students.

Further, guests and students of the college took part in the action to lay a time capsule, in which those present put postcards with wishes for future generations of power engineers. Ten years later, a capsule, including wishes from RUE "Minskenergo", open right here, on campus. And it's completely different, a new generation of power engineers will learn, how consonant are today's hopes and plans with the ideas of future professionals.

The event ended with a solemn meeting with the presentation of awards and a festive concert.
